About KV ITBP Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh

The ITBP School was actually started by the ITBP authorities for providing education for the children of the soldiers serving in the Campus. The school was taken over from them by KVS and inducted on 26 September 1988 .. Initially it started functioning in a temporary building provided by ITBP in its own campus. Later in September 2003 Vidyalaya had got its own building constructed by KVS adjacent to ITBP campus. Vidyalaya was shifted to the new building in September 2003. First batch of Class X appeared in Board's Examination in 1988 and the first batch of class-XII (Sc.) in 1991.Vidyalay introduced Arts Stream in 1992-93 and the first batch of XII (Arts) passed out in 1994. Due to non- availability of students Arts Stream was closed in 2001. The school has Classes from I to XII..

Vidyalaya caters not only to the children of ITBP, but to the civil sector also. The school is located in picturesque terrains near Jhansi Road, about 2 KM away from the Shivpuri Bus Stand and about 6 KM from the Railway Station
